As an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and pastor at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church for over 13 years, John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to couples seeking to be married. My desire is to share how God has created, ordered, and blessed the covenant of marriage. I hope to communicate in a personal and meaningful way that love is more then a feeling or an emotion, but a whole life lived together. My prayer is that as each couple makes it vows to one another, they will put into practice those wonderful words found in the scriptures, "As God's own, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, and patience, forgiving each other as the Lord has forgiven you, and crown all these things with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."(Colossians 3:12-14) |
